Another great topic.
Congratulations Ann & Ken. That's a remarkable achievement. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
I'm a former Diet Coke addict.
I lost 15 lbs. on a modified South Beach Diet. I gave up caffeine, which I thought would be hard, but it wasn't. I drink alot of hot tea. Water and Crystal light.
I gave up sugar and white flour. Which I thought would be HARD. Seems like my diet before was all sugar and grease. LOL! I did all of this 2yrs ago. I've kept the weight off. <img src='style_emoticons//biggrin.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’biggrin.gif’ />
I love the baby bell cheese, I buy the big sack at Costco. The key for me is to use fresh herbs, basil, dill, cilantro. I press fresh garlic on everything and I found fresh ginger in a tube paste. I put that on everything. I like to make chicken tenders with grilled peppers and fresh spinach with garlic and ginger. It's delicious. I love grilled vegies.
For breakfast I have a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and raspberries or an omlet. (sp?)
Congrats to you Martha C. You'll be the Belle of the Class Reunion.
I love all the recipes they sound yummie keep them coming.
