Hello Katita…. <img src='style_emoticons//smile.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’smile.gif’ />
Many, many thanks for your concern, it is so kind of you.
Here in our part of Derbyshire we have been very, very lucky, the ground is just so wet and we are all learning to live with webb feet but so far no homes have been flooded.
South of us is a different story……This is a quote from the newspaper today.
More than 500,000 people are without water, power or homes, and experts have warned that “the worst is yet to come” from fast-rising rivers.
Roads are blocked and miles of countryside are under water.
The people of Oxfordshire are preparing for the worst today as the river is rising fast.
The town of Tewkesbury has been the worst affected with thousands of people losing their homes.
Water and food parcels are being handed out, and people are being air lifted from their homes. The RSPCA are in action saving stranded animals.
Today has been a fine one for us but more rain is forcast tonight……So lets all keep our fingers crossed for the poor people in the worst affected areas.
