I instantly fell in love with the peacock too when I saw it in a store here in Stockholm, and just as instantly I got heartbroken since it was reserved for some very special customer who had managed to reserve all the solids of that store. I do think it is a bit unprofessional of the SA to favorize one single customer that way. Anyway, it cost 325.00 here so when I got it from eBay for 170.00 my heart was soon repaired and any hard feelings towards the department store was forgotten. I still feel so happy about this that it doesn't bother me to see them go so cheap now.
