Sandra's right…Woody's idea is the best. I do sell some on eBay, but have been giving the most to our local “Women in Crisis” shelter here at home. The ladies (usually young girls and their children) are just thrilled with them, and it lifts their spirits. Actually, just being nice to them lifts their spirits, as they're so mentally and physically beaten down, it breaks your heart. Plus, they usually end up at the shelter with literally nothing but the clothes on their backs and whatever they can stuff into a paper bag – fast – and run. Makeup is the least of their worries at the point of departure. However, once settled in and calmed down, they do try to pull themselves together and re-think their lives. Some go back…some venture out on their own. But at least one can try to put a little light back into their lives.
The location of each shelter is usually unknown to the general public for obvious reasons, but am sure you could find a liason to help you get the items to them.
