Here is an update on the discoloration saga.

The good news is that the seller paid me the $20.

The bad news is that since they did it as a payment to Paypal, and not as a refund, my CC will not get credited and it costs a fee of $1.50 to have Paypal send me a check. BAH! This really stinks. <img src='style_emoticons//sad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’sad.gif’ />

Frankly, I'm surprised that the seller did not know how to credit back my purchase via a CC through Paypal. <img src='style_emoticons//huh.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’huh.gif’ />

So, I wanted to post this so that those of you that use Paypal are aware of how Paypal works in these cases. It really irritates me that I will get charged a fee to get my money back. It also cost me a few long distance calls to Paypal (yup..no 800 number–they don't want us to call!) and they put me on hold FOREVER! UGH!!!!!!! I hate Paypal and will never use them again! A pox on Paypal. <img src='style_emoticons//mad.gif’ border=’0′ style=’vertical-align:middle’ alt=’mad.gif’ />

Be sure to get a REFUND from a seller if you use a CC to pay via Paypal. Otherwise, they charge to send you a check. If the amount is substantial, then the $1.50 is no big deal. But in my case…it's 5% of the total refund.
