Went to see the solid perfume museum in Bal Harbour yesterday. I wasn’t too impressed with it on a whole, last years display was much better.
There were about 100 solids on display broken up by fragrance most all the solids were newer. The most rare solid on display was the Aliage sport necklace.
The sales associates all have a list of what the insured value on the solids are worth today so I asked which one they had as most expensive and was told the moonsilver necklace with a value of $3500 [Eek!]
All the prices were way too high.
There was no powder compact included in the displays and no showing of a private collection.
It’s still good to see if anyone ever gets the chance but don’t go out of your way to see it. [Puzzled]
